Welcome To The Smith Lake Environmental Preservation Committee Home Page

Smith Lake is the deepest lake in Alabama covering 21,200 acres and 500 miles of shoreline. The lake is located in north Alabama's Cullman, Walker and Winston counties. The Smith Lake Watershed extends for more than 900 square miles and also includes a portion of Lawrence County, Franklin County and the beautiful Bankhead National Forest.
